Oakdale Public school is a Pre-K through 8th grade dependent school district located several miles northeast of Oklahoma City along the I-35 corridor into Edmond, Oklahoma. There are approximately 650-700 students living within Oakdale's 9 square mile boundary. Oakdale is somewhat like a country school outside the city. It is small enough where most of the teachers and administrators know your name. Oakdale feeds into Edmond Memorial High School or Jones Public School.
Besides the educational curriculum there are many extra curricular opportunities for your child. There are clubs such as the academic team, the Builder's Club and Science Olympiad. Oakdale has an award winning band program. They offer numerous athletics such as football, rowing, golf, volleyball, track and basketball. Their mascot is the Oakdale Rockets.
